We had a very good Christmas! We went to Maryland to visit my parents and siblings. We were planning on driving (11 hours) and then Jon's mom found us plane tickets! Thanks Cecilia!!!! This was the first Christmas the Premont Family had been together in 3 years. We had 2 additions this year (Jon & Jordan) Very fun! All 10 of us at my parents house. We all got along!! Hurray!
Jon got me a new camera, which I have been wanting for a while. I got Jon an IPhone! The presents I made for my Mom and Grandma did not arrive in time, so that was a little disappointing. Actually.... they still have not arrived...

We got back in town on Monday at 7:15am, and it was off to work for me. I did however leave all my camera equipment in MD so, as soon as my mom mails it to me I will upload all the Christmas fun for you to see!

Hope you all had a great Christmas, It was so fun being with family, spending time and traditions together and remember our Savior.

Can't Wait for New Years!!

Jon went out of town this weekend. He had a friend pass away and went up to Connecticut for the funeral. I stayed in TN for work.
Yesterday was our ward party. We (Jon & I) are on the activity committee and we threw a good party!! It was fun! Then after everything was cleaned up, I was off to the mall to finish Christmas shopping.

This year the kids on the Premont side drew names, I happened to find out about this ummm... Thursday. AWESOME! I apparently drew my 23 year old brother, David. Have you ever tried to shop for a 23 year old college student?? I asked him want me wanted and his response was " not a shirt " I asked him if he would like a gift card to a restaurant where he could take a date, his response " The last thing I want to spend my gift money on is a girl" Great, I'm out of ideas. I kept trying to get information out of him and it happen to be the BYU bowl game on. So I was not getting any information from him. I was very frustrated!!!! This was my ONLY day for shopping. It's back to work on Monday and then we leave for MD on Christmas eve. Have no worries, I happened to find him the perfect gift! We'll see how it goes over on Christmas day!

Feww I think all my shopping is done! Lets just hope everything else I ordered online will arrive before we leave on the 24th. I checked the status of my mom and grandma's gift and I don't think it will get here in time???!!!!

Merry Christmas!!

The Holidays are Upon us!

Yikes, it's been a busy two weeks for me. I've been busy with Holiday party for work, and just other stuff in general. When will I find time to do all the Christmas shopping???? This is my dilemma right now.

I'm ready for some holiday fun! It almost snowed here in Nashville last night. Right around 3pm yesterday I was in my office and heard the news that it was snowing. I ran to the front to see the white wonderment and to my awe what everyone was pointing out was NOT snow. It was thick rain. BOOO! I miss the snow right now! But to the South of Nashville the Franklin area there were pictures that did capture the real actual snow! Too bad I live a little north and missed it all. All the schools were canceled today. Why don't they cancel work?? We should get a law passed that when school is canceled so is work! Wouldn't that be grand!

Thanksgiving Weekend!

My parents and sister came into town Wednesday, which happen to be my dad's 50th birthday! Happy birthday dad. We went to Texas Road house to celebrate! Dad even road on the saddle to celebrate his big accomplishment!
Then, I made a YUMMY cake! I like to bake!

There is the Birthday Boy!

one of the fun things we did with the family was go see the lights and decorations at the Opryland Hotel. The hotel is general is HUGE! It was fun to walk around, See the water show. And just see all the lights and trees and get into the Christmas spirit!
My camera is not that great. I'm campaigning for a new camera!! WINK WINK!!
The family traveled back to Maryland on Sunday. It took them about 14 hours to get home. YUCK. It is normally an 11 hour trip.. YUCK! I hope we don't get into traffic like that when we travel to MD for Christmas. Cross your fingers!

Lately!

First and foremost... Tonight is the CMA's. I had the opportunity to go stand in the standby line and possible get in. I turned it down because I have not been feeling too great, and I thought the possibility of getting in was pretty slim, and did want to stand in the rain and be disappointed. Well guess what...... my friends got in! That's right they have floor seats at the CMA's. But I'm nice and comfy in my PJ 's at home watching it. But it would of been cool to be there!

Ok, so Tennessee has been wonderful this time of year! It's pretty outside, the weather has been pretty mild! Jon and I went to Franklin on Saturday. They have a historic district that has fun shops and yummy food. I wanted to check it out and LOVED it. So when you all come visit I will take you to Franklin and we can go shopping and it will be so fun!!!

I thought this tree was cool! Downtown Franklin

Yes, That is Jon (he is going through a phase, and wants long hair)

This is our backyard! I love the trees, and ll the leaves on the ground!!!!

I want to go jump in them

We got an early Christmas present!! LOVE IT! (The rug)

OH, and apparently my husband ordered somthing off TV last night. He claims he asked me but I was asleep on the couch. I woke up and all I remember was him asking me if he can buy something. So this morning I got the full story how he saw in imfromercial and wanted to buy it. So he called them up and ordered the product at like 1:00 in the morning. Let's just hope this does not become a habit.. ..

I found this picture online and it's my FAVORITE! Many of you know I love weddings and I love to PLAN weddings. This picture makes me SMILE!

Fall is here!

I love the change in seasons. Today as I drove to work it was brisk outside! The weatherman said it was only going to be 72 degrees today! I noticed the trees turning colors. I love the fall. It's the most wonderful time of year (besides Christmas).

Things have been sort of relaxed the last few days around our house. Jon finished painting the front room! Hurray!!! Everything is pretty much where it is supposed to be. Now we are slowly (very slowly) decorating. We actually make our first mortgage payment this week!!! WOW.

Work has been busy for both Jon & I. He did a recording session yesterday and is also working on a royalty session. October is a busy wedding month for us at work. So Happy Weddings it is!!

I was just called as the Relief Society Secetary last week. I'm in the learning process, but excited to serve in my calling! I've never had a calling in a presidency, so here we go!

Lauren is about to have her baby any day!!! I can't wait. I talked to her this afternoon and so far no baby... but soon.. I can feel it. Good Luck Lauren, for your sake I hope he comes tomorrow!

Thats the 411. Enjoy the Debate tonight!

What is this picture you may ask. Well this is the most wonderful thing in the world! You see, usually I get up for work and get ready and my husband is still sleeping away. I kiss him goodbye in bed. But not today. I woke up, jumped in the shower, got ready and when I came out to the kitchen Jon was waiting for me with breakfast all ready! The table was set, everything was on the table. It was sooooooooooooooo sweet! It totally made my day and I was in a great mood all day. Thank you Jon for breakfast, the Cheerios were delicious!

Out of Gas??

Sometimes we take things for granite, toothpaste, hot dogs and gas? On Friday a I was at work, just working away and went to an appointment, on my way home I noticed that I was close to empty. There are 3 gas stations right by my work so I thought I would stop there and fill up. I pulled into the gas station and there were bags on all the pumps. I scratched my head in confusion. I looked across the street and the gas price said $0, no one was there. They were out of gas. I figured I could make it home and fill up there. When I went into the office and told the girls they were confused. We soon found out there was a gas shortage in Nashville. We were stunned. So Naturally we called around and a gas station about a mile up had gas. We drove up there and filled up. They had a $40 limit. I called Jon and said he didn't know what was going on. He went to Costco to fill up, the lines were long, the price was outrageous.... WHAT WAS GOING ON. Weird, I know. That evening Gas was no where to be found. Police we're at stations monitoring people filling up? This was a crisis! Saturday morning we turned on CNN and they had a story about Nashville out of gas. They said it was all started from a rumor that there was a shortage, which caused EVERYONE to go fill up, and naturally gas stations were running out.

Today I had to fill up again (I drive a lot for work). And the first station was still out of gas, the second station, out of gas, the third station did have Gas. PHEWW!

WEIRD, I know! Hopefully Nashville will snap out of it!

SECONDLY: I cant find my cupcake cook book!!!!! This is very troubling to me. I looking in the cubbard with all the cookbooks and it's not there. I hope I come across it VERY soon! I miss it!

Jon is painting the extra room/ my sewing room/ my office/ baby room (one day.. ) right now! So i'm just blogging!

I have to say, I love blogging, I love that friends have found my blog and we can keep in touch! Blogging is the BEST!

Mary Gets Married This Weekend!

My Little Sister will be wed on Friday! I am excited because this gives us an excuse to go home to Maryland. There are so many people we get to see when were back home. Jon's Mom and Brother live out there, My family, my grandma will be there, The Hankees will be there, along with my Uncle Jimmy (who actually lives in Tennessee), My best friend Lauren! Hopefully I'll get to see Allie a friend from high school also!!!!

I have been a little occupied with moving in and getting everything unpacked. Since we don't have furniture yet, and we are in the process of painting still, everything is in piles in the rooms it will eventually go in. We did purchase some furniture and it will be in the middle on September. Pictures to come!

That's what is new in the Bullough House Hold! I can't wait to go to Maryland!!!!

Moved In.. Sort of!

YEAH! We did it! We closed on our home on Friday August 8th. Everything went pretty well. No hiccups during the signing. Jon had a slight heart attack when he found out they wouldn't take a personal check for our down payment. But that's a long boring story, so I'll spare everyone.
We got the keys to our home Friday evening and then went straight to Home Depot to buy paint. We painted our bedroom that evening with the help of an excellent friend MEG! We love Meg, she is a great painter and she is giggly at night time!
Saturday Morning at 7:15 the alarm goes off, and we worked all day long. We got up and went to pick up the rental truck, then I went to the house and met the carpet cleaning guy. Jon went back to the apartment to pack! And lots of packing he did!!! We had some help from our ward, which was fantastic! We got everything loaded up drove to the new house in Hendersonville (about 20 min. away) and we had help from our new ward members, I loved it!!!! Don't worry, we left a few odds and ends at our apartment that we figured we would just go get in our cars (the truck was all full). We stuffed both of our cars to the rim... I didn't think we would make it!
The day ended about 11:30 when all our stuff was in the garage. We set up our bed and crashed. I have never been so tired in my life. Except for the last time we moved and we packed up our POD in the middle of the night (i do not suggest this).

NOW, it's unpacking time!!! Hurray! I'll post pictures later, my camera did not have batteries... So we will have to capture our moving experience from now on.

Memory Lane!

Memorandum

I saw this on Caitlyn’s blog and thought I could use a little walk down Memory Lane!

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
I can't wait to see what people remember!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Happy to announce that I am now.... 25!

YUM, Ice Cream Cake!

This was my surprise party! I love parities!!!

Last Thursday (July 17th) My mom celebrated giving birth to her 1st child 25 year ago!!! Crazy (not sure if it's crazy my mom has a child that old, or if me being that old is crazier) I had a great day! I woke up bright and earlier and even though I'm married and living away from my family i had to keep with the tradition of opening my presents first thing! My mom sent a few packages and I had a few cards that had come in the mail! My mom sent me a few shirts and a cup cake caring case! I can now travel (safely, mind you) Whit 24 cup cakes that will in no way be damaged or destroyed!!!! Along with the cutest cup cake making book ever! Then Jon being sneaky magically made a cute birthday card appear (while he was still in bed). I still don't know how he did it:) And then Jon whipped out from under the bed a bad from William Sonoma.... He got me a giant cup cake mold I have been wanting for a while!!!!! I guess this is the year of the cup cakes!!!

That Evening we went out to Sushi and then Jon drove me around Nashville for no apparent reason. Then later I found out he was stalling because he arranged for some friends to be at our apartment we we got home!!! So I had a mini surprise party waiting for me. It was fun to hang out with friends!!! Jon was very sweet to me on my birthday, I felt very special!

I had a great 24th year. Here is a mini year in review:

  • Got Married
  • Went to Mexico
  • Jon Graduated from BYU
  • Moved to Nashville
  • Got a new Job
  • Cut my hair!
  • Bought a House! (haven't closed yet)

That's what I did in the last year. Can't Wait to see what the next year holds for me!!
