Candy Bar!!

This is what Shannon and I did at work today! I call it " Spring has Sprout Candy" Ha. Ok I just made that up! But it sure was fun! Enjoy the pics!

Latest Obsession!

My latest obsession is Candy Bars. Not a candybar, but a candy station at an event that is all corrdinate! At work My co-worker and I are doing a photo shoot tomorrow and we are featuring a spring Candy Bar!!! I have had lots of fun baking and deigning this table. LOVE IT!

I'll have fun pictures tomorrow when we set it all up. Hopefully it's as cute as the picture in my head!

Weekend in Review!

We had fun celebrating Jon's Birthday on Thursday the 12th. We had friends join us at the Cheesecake factory! Good times for all (and good food!)

Next we're on to Valentines Day! I make Jon these Yummy Cookies!!!

We had a fun filled day with Cecilia! We were tourist in Nashville Going to the Grand Ole' Opry (Ryman) and other neat places downtown!!

Baking! Is my favorite

So This weekend I wanted to bake Cinnamon Rolls for a meeting I was going to on Sunday. So Friday night I went to go make my cinnamon rolls. I found a yummy recipe and off I went. Well the night started off a little ruff. I made the dough and waited for it to rise, the recipe told me to wait an hour for the dough to rise... well this is what I found 1 1/2 later!!! NOTHING....



I was very disappointed, but I would not be defeated by dough.. So my second attempt went a little better. I still had problems with the rolls rising while in the pan, but they turned out better then the first batch!! See exhibit B.

They were a hit at the meeting! Even Jon liked them!

I still felt a little defeated by my first batch of dough, so I really wanted to make diner rolls to prove to myself that I could make bread! So as soon as I got home from work, I whipped up a batch of these!!!!!!

They were Yummy!

That is the end of my baking extravaganza! It was fun while it lasted!
