Cooper David

 Cooper David Bullough
November 17, 2011
6lbs 11 oz
18 1/4 inches

The first thing I said when I meet our sweet Cooper was, He looks nothing like Jonathan did!
That's kind of a funny thing to think of when he was first born, but I was totally expecting a Jonathan look alike.

He has the tiniest little features!
 He has light hair
He loves his hands! He likes them by his face when he is sleeping, and likes to suck on them when he is awake!
We tried to get a picture of all 3 boys (cousins) while we were in the hospital. This is the best we could get. 2 of them in strollers.

Getting ready do to home! Of course his going home outfit was huge on him.
Getting ready to get buckled up

 Aunt Jenney Holding her Nephews!
 Cooper already loves Aunt Jenney
Since I have been upstairs recovering, Jonathan and Papa have been hanging out, watching movies and football!
All the guys in the house watching football
Jonathan finally got to "hold" Cooper this morning.
Papa and his grandsons.
Cooper is now 5 days old and doing great! He is a good eater and sleeper! He gets up a few times at night, but goes right back to sleep. I hope it stays that way! Jonathan is still adjusting to a new person in mommies arms. He is doing really well. He has been hanging out with Papa during the day while everyone goes to work (my dad is not working this week). Then when NieNie and Jenney get home they get to all go out and play! So far so good! We love having Cooper here with us, and look forward to all the bonding that will continue to go on, especially when Daddy gets home in a few weeks!

Going Home

Cooper and I got to come home on Saturday November 19th. We had a nice stay in the hospital, but we were ready to go home.

Cooper did very well in the hospital, and I did just fine so they let us go after 48 hour.
I did have a C-section, which was planned.
The surgery went well. I even got to have a special treat.
After I had been prepped and was waiting for the surgery to start, they brought my mom in the room.
Jon had called my cell phone to check on me right as they were wanting to bring my mom back. My mom told the nurse it was Jon, the babies father and asked if she could bring the phone in the surgery room. Previously we were told no. But the nice nurse said under the circumstance they would let me talk to Jon! So when my mom walked up to me, I was surprised to see she had the phone, and she told me it was Jon. I was very excited! I held my moms hand and talked to Jon during the whole procedure! I just wanted to hear his voice and have him distract me from what I was feeling. They best part was, when Cooper was born and let out the first few cries, Jon heard them!! Then the nurse took the phone over to the crib where Cooper was getting cleaned off. So Jon got to "be with him" when he was getting all checked out! Cooper was letting out some good cries, which is the best noise in the world at that moment!

Even though Jon could not actually be in the room with me. It was quite a blessing to have him on the phone and still be apart of the birth of our son. It was very comforting to know he was "with me" still.

We are just getting adjusted to life together. Jonathan is being a great trooper so far. He is still having a hard time understanding why I can't get up and play with him. But My family (Mom, dad, Jenney, Cecilia) have been such a huge help! They have all stepped right in and taken over for me.

I just wanted to let everyone know we are home and doing well! I will get more pictures and updates coming soon!

I'm tired!

Happy Birthday Cooper!

It's Baby day!

That's right, today baby Bullough # 2 will be here today. It's 5am and I just called the hospital. They want me to come in at 6:30am. I think it just really hit me! I'm really excited to meet our new bundle of Joy!  Oh, and I have heart burn, so I'm looking forward to that going away.

Hopefully I can post some pictures when he makes his debut! So now everyone can go eat a cupcake in honor of Baby Bullough's birthday! Oh, and send me one!

November

Life is never dull around here. Jonathan just turned 22 months! He is talking up a storm these days. It is so nice to have him communicate with us. It makes like that much easier. He picks up things that are so funny. He split a bowl of cereal the other day, and I had him say "I'm sorry" He then said it the rest of the day at everything. I don't think he quite gets the point, but it was cute!

Jackson came over to play with Jonathan after church on Sunday. They just happen to be in there matching shirts!
Cute boys!

Nie Nie took us shopping for a few last minute things before baby comes. They obviously didn't take the shopping seriously. They were too busy playing with Hats!
The weather has been very nice lately. 60's! So we have been going on lots of walks for fresh air. Jonathan enjoys the park near by. He loves the swings and slides.
Well, I have 7 more days until baby boy is here! I am so excited! We haven't shared the name with anyone yet, and it is killing some family members! I think it's fun to keep this a secret until he arrives!

I keep talking to Jonathan about having a baby coming home soon. He holds out his hands like he wants to hold him! I tell him, when he is here he can hold him.

I am very anxious to get the ball rolling! Plus once Baby is here, means Daddy will be here shortly after!

Halloween 2011

 Happy Halloween from Jonathan!
 Mommy & Jonathan
(This is Jonathan's 'cheese' face)

It took a few times to get a good picture
Since the weather drastically changed, we had to get a hat for trick or treating. I couldn't fine a skeleton hat, but I did find a Dinosaur hat!!!
Papa came with us Trick or treating! JB loved walking around with Papa and knocking on all the doors! He finally got the hang of saying "Trick or Treat" to all the neighbors in exchange for some candy. At some doors, he would even ask for 'more' and they obliged! HAHA! He did get lots of seconds as well for being "so cute!!"

At one house, he just needed a break apperently. So he sat down on the grass. Here is his 'cheese' face!
Aunt Jenney was at a friends house handing out candy. We decided to go drive to her and surprise her with the cutest trick or treater EVER! They loved the surprise!

This last pictures is a favorite! I love the leaves on the ground.
