Special Treat!

We had a very special treat on Saturday! We got to skype with Jon/Daddy~
It was so great to see and hear him. It was even better to see the excitement in Jonathan. When he saw Jon on the computer screen, he lite up! He got really excited and knew exactly who that was. He was pointing and waiving and saying "Da Da". That really made me smile. Jon's face lite up too when he saw Jonathan!
They were playing peek-a-boo, and giving High Fives, and Pounds over the computer. Jonathan even wanted to share his sippy cup with Dad. Jon even took sips through the computer! It was pretty funny. Jonathan was also showing off all his tricks. He was pointing out all his body parts me knew. Saying lots of words and even showing him all his teeth. I enjoyed talking with him when I could get a sentence in between him and JB playing.

I also need to document Jonathan's love of music. He definitely has his daddies talent in that area. First off, he loves to listen to songs and dance to them. I often find him bopping his head in the car when we are driving. Lately he has loved climbing up on the piano and playing his own songs! He now grabs the Hymn book and will flip through it to find a song and sing to it. I can hear him "singing" from the other room. I always go peak in when he is doing this and I usually find him waving his hand around like he is leading the song. So cute !

Here is a picture I took last week while we were home. My little guy enjoying the beach!

Nursery and other things...

Jonathan was so cute at church. He went to nursery just fine. It was only his 3rd time going!  He likes the Olney ward nursery. I think it is because the nursery leaders are 2 guys that play with him. There is also a girl in there, but he doesn't really care about her. Anyways, I kept checking on him. I would just peak in the door and no one even knew I was peaking. I was just looking through the cracks. Each time he was playing, or sitting on someones lap. Then when it was snack time he was sitting in his chair, being good. Not bothering anybody. He had his plate of raisins, and gold fish and his little cup of water. He loves raisins. He was asking for more (using words!!!) He says mor mor (which kinds sounds like ma ma) but I think they got it. Then I saw him reading a book with 2 other boys. The leader was turning the pages. It was a book with Horses on the pages. He has really liked horses lately. Every time he sees a painting or picture he points it out. All this really made me realize that he is not a baby anymore. He is getting so big and slightly independent. I went back to relief society and turned to my mom and told her that "JB doesn't need me anymore".... sad! Of course I know he does. The second I walked in the door to go get him he ran right up to me and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out of the nursery doors and shut the door. I guess he was done! But he had a great time! It makes me happy to see him doing toddler things!

In other news.....

Playing with Laura on the Train

Here are a few pictures of our adventures this week. Mrs. Robin took us to the Clarksville Farm to see the animals and go thought the enchanted forest. It was such a treat to do this! Jonathan loved it. I ran, and ran, and ran around!~

Elmo

b

Jonathan has a new fasination. ELMO!
He has entered our lives very recently. One day when I was desperate for something to do with Jonathan. I remember how a few of my friends will show there kids videos on the computer to calm them down or entertain them for a minute.

Well, Jonathan doesn't really like TV yet, so I was thinking what I could show him. Elmo is the only thing that pop in my head.

So I pulled up youtube, typed in Elmo and a few videos came up. HEAVEN! Jonathan loved seeing Elmo sing and tell stories. He only really likes 2 of videos. He demands those 2 every morning when we get up. When he sees someone on the computer, he wants to watch "melmo"

I just so happen to have a shirt with Elmo on it. And boy when he realized who was on his shirt it was a great day! You can't really tell from this picture, but Elmo is somewhere on his shirt.

When I was getting him ready for bed and had to change his shirt. He pointed to his pajama shirt and asked if "melmo" was on it. I might of said yes??!!
