Today I want to blog about shoes. You see, last summer I totally wore out my summer shoes. So when moving I didn't want to take raggy, worn out shoes so I DIed them. But now, I'm summer shoeless. Nashville is already warming up quickly (and I love it). I usually purchased my shoes at Nordstrom, but you see, Nashville does not have the Mecca of clothing (in my opinion). What is a girl to do. After browsing the local stores, i didn't come up with anything. Lately I've seen girls around town wearing these super cute ankle strap, strapy open round toe shoes AND I LOVE THEM. But I cant find them. But I have been Internet searching (or dreaming, however you want to look at it). This is what I have fell in love with!
If anyone out there wants to go browsing for shoes, here are a few good websites!
www.endless.com
www.nordstroms.com
www.bcfootware.net
Ok, so I CAN NOT post the pictures from the web (if anyone, AND i know there are a few that know how to post pictures from the Internet, please tell me!)
ANYWAYS, enjoy shoe shopping/dreaming!

What a Beautiful day!
You see, I was going to post something today about how blah life has been lately. But then, I thought that wont do anybody any good, or put a smile on anyones face. I started thinking how greatful & Blessed I am! And oh, how Jon and I are so blessed! I found these pictures, they brought joy to my day!

Its great how flowers can make you smile and somehow you can forget all your worries. I love flowers! And I love yellow, look how bright and happy everything is! Enjoy.

Update
Well, I noticed that I have not posted anything for a week now! YIKES! I feel very bad for my loyal blogger friends who depend on my blog for a small fraction of there entertainment for the day/week/month when ever they check it. Well I have been very busy at work last week (which is good). Jon has been busy working as well. But unfortunately he only gets to see benefits for 15 hours of his 35 our week. Bummer, but that's what I hear the music business is all about sometimes. But he is enjoying what he is doing anyway!
Well, the reason I have been so busy might be due to the fact that I have been working since Friday all day, and night! Yikes, very busy but doing fun things. Friday I worked an event called Nashville on the Rocks. It was a clear channel event and we did some food for them. I went and set up and then "managed" the rest of the evening. It was a ticketed event to get in, and I was able to get a few extra tickets for Jon and some friends to come enjoy the Nashville Night life! Saturday I did a Beautiful wedding, in a grand ballroom at the War Memorial Building. So beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera and was too busy that i didn't have time. Sunday and Monday was jammed packed with the CMT award show festivities. Some of you may of heard about the CMT Awards, and might of even saw them on TV last night. We did the welcome party and the After party. Very fun, Very crazy, but neat to be a part of what I've seen on TV for so long.
I am going to name drop for a second, so ENJOY! Last night I saw at the after party: Brookes and Dunn, Big Kenny, Jason Aldeen, Luke Bryan, LIttle Big Town, Marsha Brady (i know that's not her real name, but that's how i know her) Sysco (yes, yes Sysco was there) Snopp Dogg was there, A few American Idol people.
That was fun. One of the girls I work with when we would get a break for a moment we would go "star searching' around the room and look for people!
That's whats new in our little world.
Have a fun day!

Wedding Website Galore!
Most of you know about my passion for Weddings. I love weddings, I love planning weddings, going to weddings, eating Cake at weddings! You name it I love it. I love working on weddings and find my joy helping people plan there weddings. Here in Nashville I get to be way more hands on with my weddings. With my job here, since everything is off premises I get to go out with brides, and look at venues, do cake tastings and all that fun stuff if they would like my help. I do work for a cater so my job title is not "wedding planner" at Chef's Market, but when a bride wants my help, I get to help them. Plus do all the fum corporate and personal parties! Well, I've been doing a lot of research on Weddings in Nashville to keep up, and I have found some fun websites. I didn't want to forget any of them, so Valaaa... I created a separate section to put all my fun finds. But the great thing about this... IS you can look too! How fantastic is that. A lot of my friends are planning weddings (and sister, and best Friends sister.. way to go ALLIE!!) So here you go, if you want to see the latest trends, these links will hopefully help you. IF anyone else knows of great website please let me know, I would love to add them tot he list I'm
compiling!
**I tried to put pictures up, but for some reason I could not get them to paste Soory, I'll figure it out later.

April 2nd is ONE of my FAVORITE days
Simply because that is the date Jon & I were engaged! It was such a great moment, and I just love thinking of that day. Some of you may not know how were were engaged. So I will take the opportunity to tell the story from MY perspective.
April 2, 2007 was a Monday. A usual not much going on Monday for me at work. My Parents were in Idaho Visiting my sister and brother and we had just seen them the previous weekend and went to conference with them. Jon's Mom was in town visiting as well. At work, I had a few appointments and some office work to do. My two Friends in the office were in and out all day, which I did notice, but didn't think anything of. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon Becky asked if I could help her show the big gardens for an upcoming wedding, and gave the excuse that she had never done it before and needed me to explain everything. So I told her I would and to let me know when she was ready to go. 4 0'clock came and she wanted me to come with her to show her the gardens. When we left the office she insisted on driving, so I let her. When we got the the gardens we parked in the most random area, behind the gardens and not even close the entrance. She wanted us to walk around and enter the garden from the side. Becky told me her friend that was interested in the garden wedding was waiting for us int he 'Secret Garden' As we walked to the garden there were people in it admiring the garden. She was leading me to a specific part, and I saw a gentleman siting on a bench with his back to me and he had a guitar. The funny thing is I didn't even think twice about it. I looked up see where Becky was leading me to and she was gone. No Idea where she went. Then the person playing the guitar looked familiar and the music sounded familiar. As I rounded the corner I saw a bouquet of flowers on the bench, and JON sitting next to the flower playing me the song he wrote for me! At that moment I froze. I latterly didn't move, I had no idea what I should be doing. Jon was singing, I saw my boss in the corner of my eye taking pictures and my co-workers in the other corner of my eye. After standing there for what seamed like forever I went and sat next to Jon. He finished the Amazing song he wrote for me, and then said some really nice things to me. Told me how much he loved me and then put his guitar down and got on one knee. I was so excited. I wanted to scream YES before he even asked me anything, but I determined that I should wait for a question. When he did ask me to Marry him I said Yes and Stood up!!! I don't even remember seeing a ring or anything, I knew he was holding a box but I didn't care what was in the box, all I wanted was to say yes!! In that quaint garden we were engaged!
I was on cloud 9, literally I felt like I was floating. We then took a few pictures and everyone scattered and gave us a moment to be alone. Then we went and meet up with Jon's Mom and Sister and Brother-in-law at Applebees for dinner. They didn't know Jon was going to propose to me, and he didnt bother to tell anyone.. actually he didn't even know he was going to propose that day until the afternoon.
What a Great day!! I wish I could relive it every year.
So Last night to celebrate, we went to Applebee's for dinner just like we did last year. And this year I gave Jon a ring-pop to remember our day! I'll see if I can find pictures to post when I get home today!!!!!
