Beach!

The weather has been great here in Virginia Beach!

Therefore, I feel like we need to enjoy our soundings! 

Beach day it was! 

I read somewhere that babies don't like the feeling of grass and sand on there feet. Both are true with Jonathan. It was kinda funny at first. He couldn't figure out why the ground felt the way it did. Then we went to the wet sand by the water and that was OK, until a small wave came in and got his feet wet. he FREAKED out! I think he stayed attached to my hip for at least 15 min. Then we slowly got him down again to play and he eased into it. 

We then got the beach toys out and he was pretty good. He would come sit in my lap every now and them to get off the sand. So cute !

Here he is taking over my chair to get off the sand. 

He was fascinated with the waves coming in and out!

I'm excited to spend most of the summer at the beach!

But I like to think of it as Friends Forever!

 Jonathan is 15 months now! We went to our check up and the stats are in!

weight: 24lbs 12oz (57%)

height: 31 inches (51%)

head: 18 1/2 (60%)

So he is growing just fine! 

Today while we were playing, Jonathan tried to grab Myah's hand to hold. It was sooo cute! But Myah is not much of a hand holder, so she did not oblige. 

It was adorable!

Ha! That face cracks me up! Such a ham!

Little Tornado

April got off to a great start! Jonathan and I have actually been in Maryland while Jon is in Newport, Rhode Island for some school. We love coming up to visit and love getting to spend time with BOTH grandma's and of course Grandpa! Jonathan is quite the active boy. He LOVES to be outside. Every morning he is dragging me to the front door to take him outside. I do have to real him back in when we are both still in our PJ's and some mornings it has been cold. But when it is nice outside, we are loving it! 

Our Neighbors in MD have 2 boys four and two. So of course Jonathan LOVES playing with them. He wants to do everything they are doing. They have 2 cozy coups and he actually goes in their garage and pulls them out!

 I got JB a bow tie for Uncle Ben's wedding. Here we are trying it out! And trying out the slick comb over!

 The park is our best friend. he looks so little running around, but he keeps up with the big kids! Here is is trying to climb up the "rock wall" he did get up one step!

 Grandma Nie Nie got him a shopping cart. Everything was going fine, until he decide to crawl in it. I found him once STANDING in it! Oh boy!
