My big One Year Old...

I'm still in denial that Jonathan is 1 year old. I love this little guy! He is definitely getting his likes and dislikes down. Yesterday, I was holding him and HAD to put him down to go do something, he started crying and laid flat on the ground face down SCREAMING! I think that may be the start of tantrums. YIKES!

But in the mean time, I do get to take pictures of him HAPPY!

The other day he ran away from me while I was getting him dressed.

 Who doesn't love a naked baby!

 This closet holds the vacuum. Jonathan is OBSESSED withthe vacuum. He will sit in front of the closet and cry because he wants it open.

My parents came into town last weekend. My dad wanted to see what the beach looked like in January. Here it is..... (looks the same, except no one is on it.) OH and it is freezing at the beach.

Even though it was freezing, it was pretty! 

First Haircut...(sweet little Jonathan transforms into a Wildman!!)

Today was a busy day for Jonathan.  We started off at the doctor's office for JB's 1 year check-up.  Unfortunately, as he soon would find out, entailed being poked and prodded in all sorts of ways.  Jonathan was champ throughout the entire visit, from peeing on the nurse while checking his temperature, to having his finger pricked, and finally to the 4 immunizations is the thighs.  Not the kind of way I like to start my weekends, but Jonathan handled it very well with minimal crying.  Way to go kid!

So after the doctor's visit we decided it was high time for Jonathan to part with some of his overgrown hair and took him for his first haircut.  We waited for quite a while before our number was called, but managed to keep JB pacified until his turn was called.  Jon, eager to get some practice with our new Canon camera, asked the stylist if she minded if he captured the moment for posterity.  He are some of the best shots we got from the experience.

Can you do a pull up?

Jonathan can!

He loves to have daddy help him do pull ups! When daddy comes home from work he points right at the pull up bar and insist that he help him do a few (or a lot) of pull ups!

He even pulls up himself! Very strong boy!

We Celebrated Jonathan birthday with friends on Saturday!

We had a great time, food friends and Presents!

I made Jonathan another birthday cake. It was a #1. I think it was pretty cute.

When friends arrived, it was time to Party!!

 When it was time for cake, I put jonathan in his high chair. I turned to grab something and heard everyone laughing. When I truned back, Jonathan had grabbed the cake and got his fingers in the frosting! How cute!
