why Hello....

First off........ I have a new niece!!!! She was born Tuesday, her name is Hailey!! Congrats Liz and Craig!

Ok, now on to my life. So Jon has been on his ship for 3 weeks. I am a stay at home momma in a new place, and well... I'm getting bored. And I'm trying really really hard to not spend money shopping (and it's hard). So lately, Jonathan gets up and we play, and I take pictures of him! Here are a few from our morning of FUN!

Last week, Jon came home a little early one day, So he was going to put Jonathan down for a nap, this is what I found!

I found these really cute PJ's the other day, and again Jonathan and I were playing in the morning! So fun!

I can't believe June is almost over! Crazy, but BRING ON JULY!!!

It's also really really weird it being June and I haven't been to/ planned 100 weddings...I miss it!

Life update

Wow, It has been an interesting week! As most of you know, we moved to Virginia Beach about 2 weeks ago. We had a rough start, we didn't get our stuff as planned. We had a hard time getting it, and when they did bring it, it was a rough move in day.

So we had started to unpack and as you all know, that takes a LONG time with a baby. I still have so much to do. Last week, I went up to Maryland for a few days, when I got back on Thursday I discovered our air conditioner was not working..... ARE YOU KIDDING ME! It is 90+ degrees out here with humidity! No one could come out until Saturday morning. So we suffered for 2 nights. I was hoping the guy could get it fixed on Saturday. NOPE! the compressor was out. He said he could fix it Monday... suffer a few more days! I then get a call today saying they can't do anything until Wednesday! I was fuming! It is 92 degrees in my house at 8am. Jonathan is screaming because it is so hot, and now I have to wait "a few more days" Not a happy person right now! It is so hot in my house, I can't get anything done because 1. Jonathan is so hot and uncomfortable. 2. I am sweating so bad.. 3. I'm miserable. So we have spent the last few days driving around, getting to know Walmart and Target and the local malls!

But other than that, we are liking it here so far. The area is really nice, we have enjoyed the pools!

Here are a few pictures (well a lot of pictures) of the last few weeks. They are backwards starting from most recent. Jonathan is getting so big, he turned 5 months old last week! And he is going bald.. which is funny because he was born with so much hair!

When we first moved down here, we were waiting for our stuff to arrive, so we had to stay in a hotel for a week, so naturally we picked a hotel on the beach!

Memorial day weekend we had a BBQ at Grandma Bullough's house! It was so fun to get together with the family and spend the day by the water!

We have been in the process of moving for about, well..... February!! Kinda of.. Anyways, we are arefinally in Virginia Beach! My house looks like a tornado went through it, but well... at least all of our stuff is here! It has been an interesting experience moving with the Navy. We were supposed to get our stuff on Wednesday, well, that didn't happen. Someone called Jon on Saturday to let us know they put our stuff in storage. We were not too happy. But we still thought we would get our stuff on Wednesday. Jon had to report on Sunday, so we arrived Sunday evening, and spent a few days at the beach! Wednesday came and we did not received our stuff. ANNOYING! Jon was on the phone trying to figure things out, and they told us we wouldn't get our stuff until Wednesday the 9th. YIKES. I was upset because Jon took leave to take care of all of this stuff this week, and he was leaving on Monday for a few days. So I would have to do it all by myself... again. Thankfully we meet a nice lady at the Personal Property office here in Norfolk. She made a few phone calls and plead our case, and we got our stuff to be delivered on Saturday! Hurray!

So now we are in a mess, but at least it's my mess!!
